CAMERA MONITORING ISPS-850K-S, COMPLIANCE WITH ISPS CODE
The conference of SOLAS ’74 signatory governments adopted the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) in December 2002 which entered into force on July 1, 2004. An ISPS Code – compliant camera monitoring system, as a device for monitoring access to the whole it is at berth, is intended to meet a recommendation found in part B of the ISPS Code with the following major features; (a) For temporary, rather than permanent, installation at the time of berthing. (b) Tough structured to be waterproof (IP65). (c) Less expensive because the compact camera is integrated with their housings. (d) The system requires no elaborate installation work due to a coaxial multiplex arrangement, requiring only coaxial cable to start operation. (e) Equipped with an automatic black-and-white photographic mode, which is particularly effective for night-time shooting, the system can perform continuous monitoring night and day. (f) The cameras use varifocal lenses with a wide range of horizontal shooting angles, from 24o to 93o. Standard power source is AC 100 volt, and AC 220 volt type increased by transformer is also available if required.
